Kaye George is at Malice Domestic, and Gale Albright, who, along with me, is not, posts a picture of Kaye and one of the cover of her Neanderthal mystery, Death in the Time of Ice (which has been likened to Jean Auel’s The Clan of the Cave Bear).

Yes, I am also not there. Too bad.

You’d think someone would give us a great big grant, like maybe five figures, to go up there and look around. We would take a lot of notes.

I was there. Harriette did a great job. Of course no one could compete with Kaye in history. Her Neanderthal mystery sort of deep-sixed the 1920s! Go Kaye!

HOW I envy you! When I joined Austin Mystery Writers critique group, Kaye was Grand Pooh-Bah. Now that she’s moved, we’ve made her Grand Pooh-Bah Emerita, so we still have a claim on her. I hope to get to Malice before she wins the Pulitzer and becomes too snooty to speak to the common folk. 🙂 She really is amazing.

Oh, and Charles Todd won the Agatha Award, but I DID get nominated.
