Ribs

Posted on November 23, 2018November 23, 2018 by M.K. Waller in Uncategorized

I am grateful for
a husband
who knows how to perform the Heimlich maneuver
and
a doctor
who knows how to prescribe codeine
for ribs
that may or may not
be cracked.

No, it didn’t happen at Thanksgiving dinner. It was over a week ago.
