Now that is an eclectic reading list, Kathy 🙂 I may have to secure a copy of The End Of Overeating. I would love to see the day this happens, but an insatiable appetite is a particular downfall of mine.

Eclectic, yes. The End of Overeating deals, in part, with the effects of highly processed foods on the brain that cause “conditioned hypereating”–and the efforts of the food industry to get the formula just right. Sparks considerable Righteous Indignation.

The Jacobs book is on my TBR stack as well. Let me know what you think. Fannie Flagg’s book is calling to me. Did you actually get to see her?

I heard Jacobs talk about the book on NPR–about the time he stoned a man in the park. It seemed likely a good read, but it’s taken me a long time to get around to it.
Saw Fannie Flagg. Came away with signed book. More details to come.
